Why we exist
Our parents taught us almost everything. Now the world they live in is full of scam calls, confusing phones and new risks they never had to think about. Back Home Tech helps adult children keep their parents safe, connected and independent, whether they live nearby or far away.
Our guides are written by people who work in IT and have families of their own. We explain things plainly, test what we can, and say so when something isn't worth your money.
How we choose what to recommend
- We recommend free options and built-in settings first.
- We only recommend paid products we would set up for our own families.
- We never use fear to sell. If a product isn't needed, we'll tell you.
- We update guides when prices, features or official advice change.
